As a proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, I built my career on hard work, growth, and community involvement. I’ve been married for almost three years and have an eight-month-old son at home, so family is at the center of everything I do.

ROLE DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a motivated and proactive B2B Marketing Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in driving referral-based marketing initiatives, supporting our sales staff with their referral networks, planning and executing marketing events, and conducting outreach through cold calling. The ideal candidate will develop essential skills in business-to-business marketing and sales support within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to generate B2B referrals and expand referral networks.
  • Support sales staff by managing and nurturing their referral contacts and helping coordinate follow-ups.
  • Plan, organize, and promote marketing events aimed at strengthening business relationships and generating leads.
  • Conduct cold calls to prospective business clients to introduce our services and transfer qualified leads to the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of referral activities, event participation, and outreach efforts using CRM tools.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional materials and communications to support referral campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports on referral program performance and outreach results.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and engaging with business professionals.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Self-motivated, eager to learn, and able to work both independently and as part of a team..
Employment Duration:
This internship is structured around each academic semester, providing flexible work aligned with your school schedule. Upon completion of your internship and graduation, we will discuss potential opportunities for a full-time position within the Agency.
Compensation: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
